The report demonstrates that bulk-billing rates are tanking and costs are increasing; the average out of pocket cost to see a GP in WA is $42.66 per visit. In a cost-of-living crisis, the lack of action on bulk billing is causing harm to the community and is putting pressure on an already strained health system. The community and general practitioners are at breaking point.
