Speaking candidly in a wide-ranging interview, the One Nation leader slammed the $57 billion NDIS scheme as “rotted” and “unsustainable,” citing travel allowances of over $500/hour in remote areas. Hanson also rejected Susan Lee’s push for gender quotas in politics, calling it “bunkum,” and reaffirmed her party's commitment to selecting candidates on merit. She further revealed that Prime Minister Albanese has slashed One Nation’s staffing despite the party doubling its Senate representation—labeling it discriminatory and vowing to take the issue to the National Crime and Misconduct Commission.
