We listen because your voices matter, and that is why we are here. Your stories, frustrations, and hopes are what drive us to stand up in Parliament and discuss and question the government on your behalf. Recently, I shared the story of Melinda, who wrote to my office about the cost-of-living crisis.
Melinda works two jobs, sometimes even three, and still wonders how she will ever get ahead. She is doing everything she can, but feels like the harder she works, the further she falls behind. Thank you, Melinda, for sharing your story and concerns with me.
Sadly, Melinda’s story is not unique. It is the reality for countless Australians who feel forgotten by a government that is out of touch with the people it’s supposed to represent. That is why I have been taking your stories, your real experiences, straight to the floor of Parliament.
Because you deserve to be heard. Labor’s obsession with net zero is driving up energy costs, shutting down industries, and making life harder for families. Their mass immigration agenda is pushing up housing costs, rents, and placing more pressure on hospitals, schools, infrastructure and increasing homelessness.
Meanwhile, everyday Australians like Melinda are left to pick up the pieces. One Nation says enough is enough. We will always stand with everyday Australians, the forgotten Australians who make this country great.
Please keep sending through your stories. We are listening, and we will keep raising your concerns in Parliament, putting pressure on the government, and holding them to account. Together, we can make Australia a place where hard work pays off, where every family can build a future, own a home, and live with dignity.
