He said the government continues to ignore ordinary Australians while opening the floodgates to hundreds of thousands of new arrivals every year. His message was simple: Let Australians decide. Whitten defended One Nation’s long-standing call for a five-year Zero Net Migration plebiscite , giving the public the democratic right to choose the future of their country.
Yet Labor and the Liberals have voted it down twice proof, Whitten says, that the major parties fear what the people really think. He painted a devastating picture of the crisis, rentals with 100 people lining up for one property, families forced into tents, cars, and streets, WA facing a 1% rental vacancy rate, r ents up 43.8% in five years, population surge equal to “ adding Hobart twice ” in one year Whitten exposed Labor’s deceptive “skilled migration” narrative, revealing that only 12% of arrivals are genuinely skilled and almost none work in construction despite the housing crisis.
He said Labor is gaslighting Australians while wages fall back to 2011 levels and productivity collapses. He also exposed the political motive behind mass migration: new migrants overwhelmingly vote Labor , giving the government every incentive to keep the taps wide open. One Nation’s message is clear: Australians must have the final say on immigration not politicians, elites, or global agendas.
