Leave arrangements

The Prime Minister will be on leave for five days from Monday 1 December 2025. During most of this time, the Deputy Prime Minister will be Acting Prime Minister. The Deputy Prime Minister is expected to travel to Papua New Guinea from Tuesday morning to Wednesday afternoon.

During this time Minister Wong will be Acting Prime Minister. PM&C acknowledges the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledges their continuing connection to land, water and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging.
