ANU Associate Professor and former Coalition staffer Jill Sheppard recently spoke about the need to "... mitigate against these populist tendencies .” They know that the majority of Australians share One Nation's views including anti mass immigration, so they opt to discussing the need to bring big money into the picture instead. Sheppard then went on to say “ I think that if you are a political party and the option is there to get money from [big business], yes that leads to some pretty perverse outcomes, but if the alternative is just listening to the median voter, who on migration is probably far beyond where we are right now …" So why should we be surprised by this sort of arrogant superiority?
Lets recall how Labor’s South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas recently said he wants new migrants to “wipe bums” as a new form of underclass untouchables… These elitists don't believe that you should be heard, that your concerns matter. Instead, they believe that you should be drowned out by the sheer weight of money that the old establishment can muster.
One Nation believes that your voice carries more weight than big business lobbyists. Do you like this page? Share Get the latest from One Nation!
