The cost alone of running it is $4.2 billion per year, which is equivalent to building four major hospitals per year. The buybacks alone have led to a cut in food production and diminished national food security and destroyed the irrigation farming industry. The scientific research behind sending water down the river to South Australia is more than questionable, and disadvantages the farmers in this region.

Labor and the Coalition have failed to listen to the cries of the people of this electorate. It’s time for a Royal Commission to get to the bottom of the issues and then have a government who prioritises addressing those issues. David Farley is the One Nation candidate for the Farrer by-election - a local who has managed large enterprises in our electorate only to see them destroyed by the Murray Darling Basin plan.

Today, what were once thriving enterprises are now largely gone. David Farley is a man on a mission to see this issue addressed. One Nation has pledged to withdraw from the international treaties that severely disadvantage the farmers, set up a Royal Commission and lastly to allocate the communities the amount of water they need to build in resilience and enhance food production which will benefit farmers and lead to thriving communities.

One Nation is the common-sense party that Australia needs to turn back our nation so that we can once again become the ‘Lucky Country’. Pauline Hanson has publicly stood up for issues no one else is game to talk about. One Nation is a party for the people.

David Farley visited Finley on March 18 to gather support in our region at the Finley Country Club. This coming by-election on May 9 is going to be a test case for the Federal Election that is coming in 2028. It’s time to elect people who will listen and act on a myriad of issues facing our nation.

A vote for an independent is a wasted vote. With the national trend, One Nation will have the machinery in place and the political teeth in Canberra to effect the changes we are all crying out for. Do you like this page?
