Voters in the rural NSW Federal seat of Farrer go to the polls tomorrow. National media are swarming the electorate ahead of polling day. Water issues, farming, energy, the cost of living, health and immigration have been the biggest issues during the campaign.

No candidate contesting Farrer understands what makes the region's economy tick better than One Nation's David Farley, who has vast experience in establishing and managing agricultural and irrigation business. David is leading in the polls despite concerted attacks from the Liberals and Nationals, parties which have traditionally held the seat with members like former Liberal leader Sussan Ley and former Nationals leader Tim Fischer, the extremist organisation 'GetUp' which loves net zero and hates farmers, and of course the teal candidate who insists she's not a teal with her Climate 200 funding, teal policies, teal volunteers and teal supporters.

If successful, David will be the first One Nation MP elected to the House of Representatives (Pauline was elected to the house in 1996 as the first-ever woman independent because One Nation hadn't been formed at that time) and join Barnaby Joyce on the cross bench. It will also send another strong message (after the South Australian election) that One Nation is well and truly a political force to be reckoned with.
