Petitions Murray Valley Highway–Frank Drive, Yarrawonga Tim McCURDY (Ovens Valley) presented a petition bearing 135 signatures: This petition of the residents of Yarrawonga, Mulwala and Victoria draws to the attention of the Legislative Assembly the serious and increasing safety concerns at the intersection of the Murray Valley highway and Frank Drive, Yarrawonga, which has experienced significant traffic growth following the establishment of Bunnings, Aldi and the recent opening of Coles.

Residents have reported frequent near misses, regular traffic accidents and increasing congestion at the intersection, creating an unacceptable risk to motorists, pedestrians and local families. The petitioners therefore request that the Legislative Assembly call on the Minister for Roads and Road Safety to urgently assess the intersection of the Murray Valley Highway and Frank Drive, Yarrawonga, and fund and implement appropriate safety upgrades, including traffic controls and other infrastructure improvements necessary to ensure the safety of all road users.
