Why are we having to import so many of our key tradies? For years, governments have failed to support small businesses that want to take on apprentices. And many of these key trades haven’t been promoted enough.

Instead of tackling the issue, governments have simply pulled the mass migration lever. One Nation would back our key trades and apprenticeships. We would remove the barriers small businesses face when taking on apprentices, and we would create incentives.
