Senator ASKEW (Tasmania—Chief Opposition Whip in the Senate) (11:42): At the request of Senator McKenzie, I move: That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, by no later than midday on 10 February 2025, the following documents created between 20 December 2024 and 4 February 2025: (a) copies of any formal letters from the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts to the Queensland Government regarding the proposed $7.2 billion Bruce Highway upgrade funding; and (b) copies of any correspondence between the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government and the Deputy Premier of Queensland regarding the proposed $7.2 billion Bruce Highway upgrade funding.
