Senator ASKEW (Tasmania—Chief Opposition Whip in the Senate) (17:02): Before moving general business notice of motion No. 771, I ask that the name of Senator Thorpe be added to the motion. At the request of Senator Duniam and Senator Thorpe, I move: That the Senate— (a) notes that the Minister representing the Minister for the Environment and Water has failed to comply with order for the production of documents no. 746, agreed to on 5 February 2025, relating to correspondence with Senators Hanson-Young and David Pocock in relation to the Government's Nature Positive bills; and (b) requires the Minister representing the Minister for the Environment and Water to comply with the order by no later than 9 am on 12 February 2025.
