Senator HUME (Victoria) (20:54): Minister, can you confirm that the provisions of the bill do not alter the status of the LNP as the recognised state branch and, specifically, the Queensland branch of both the Liberal Party of Australia and the National Party of Australia for the purposes of the Commonwealth Electoral Act?
