QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator VAN (Victoria) (14:46): Thank you, Minister. You referred earlier to the importance of our international agreements. Given the significance of these targets to voters, do you believe both major parties should commit to a 2035 target before the upcoming federal election so that voters are fully informed?

The PRESIDENT: Senator Van, it is not for the minister to be speaking on behalf of the opposition. I will invite the minister to answer your question in the best way that she can.
