Senator Thorpe's circulated amendment— At the end of the motion, add ", but the Senate: (a) notes the need to recognise intersectionality and diversity when measuring gender equality and that this must be taken into consideration when developing gender equality indicators and targets; and (b) calls on the Government to progress collection and reporting of data relating to intersectionality and diversity indicators to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, but that it is not mandatory for employees to disclose this information".
