The DEPUTY PRESIDENT (16:48): Senator Hanson has submitted a proposal, under standing order 75, today, as shown at item 14 of today's Order of Business: The need for the Government to scrap its net-zero emissions target and instead prioritise providing Australian families, farmers, businesses and industry with cheap and reliable energy, to protect jobs, ensure energy security, lower the cost of living and restore Australia's economic competitiveness.

Is consideration of the proposal supported? More than the number of senators required by the standing orders having risen in their places— The DEPUTY PRESIDENT: With the concurrence of the Senate, the clerks will set the clock in line with informal arrangements made by the whips.
