CONSTITUENCY STATEMENTS
Mrs McINTOSH (Lindsay) (16:35): I'd like to acknowledge and celebrate the extraordinary achievements of women in my electorate of Lindsay—women who not only are leaders in their fields but also represent Western Sydney on the national and international stage. Gina Field, a proud local businesswoman and the driving force behind Nepean Regional Security, recently had her business named company of the year at the Women Changing the World Awards in London.
This is no small feat. This is an international competition involving more than 55 countries. Gina's dedication to excellence in a male dominated industry, her commitment to the safety of our community and her passion for mentoring others have made her a role model for women in business not just in our community but right across the country.
BeBe Liu-Brennan is a remarkable 15-year-old dancer from Lindsay. She was named world dancer of the year at the 2025 World Dance Movement in Italy, where she proudly represented team Australia. Her incredible talent, relentless work ethic and grace under pressure have earned her global recognition at a very young age.
BeBe's achievement is not only a testament to her personal dedication but also an inspiration to the next generation of artists, athletes and performers across the country. I'm so proud to have such a strong number of dancers with amazing talent in my electorate. Sally-ann Eather of the family-run Eather Group was a finalist in the Women in Industry excellence in transport award—an acknowledgement of her leadership in a field that has traditionally lacked female representation.
The business is also celebrating 15 years of operation, growing from humble beginnings into a leading force in transport. With close to 40 per cent of its workforce made up of women, the Eather Group stands as a strong example of inclusive leadership and forward-thinking values in Western Sydney. Sally-ann continues to lead with strength and innovation, and she has an unwavering commitment to our community as well as her team.
Alicia Xiberras is the founder of Alicia Xiberras Interiors, and she's another outstanding local woman making waves around the world. Her work was recently featured on Million Dollar Listing Sydney, and she has also completed the interior design of a $50 million estate in Dubai. Alicia's creativity, professionalism and global success are shining examples of Western Sydney's entrepreneurial spirit.
These women are not just achieving great things; they are breaking barriers, lifting others and proving what's possible when women are empowered to lead. They represent the spirit, determination and brilliance of the women in Lindsay, and I am incredibly proud of all they have achieved.
