QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator O'NEILL (New South Wales) (14:08): My question is to the minister representing the Treasurer, Senator Gallagher. This week the Albanese Labor government has continued to deliver cost-of-living relief to Australians and the agenda we took to the election. At the same time, the government is planning for the future, adding renewables to the grid and building the green economy of the future.

Why is it important for the government to address climate change and provide policy certainty during the transition to a net zero economy?
