The DEPUTY SPEAKER ( Mr Georganas ) (12:01): I have to report to the House that on 7 August 2025 the Speaker received advice from the Chief Government Whip nominating Ms Coker to be a member of the Standing Committee on Appropriations and Administration in place of Ms Chesters. In accordance with standing order 229(b), as the House was not expected to sit for several weeks, the appointment became effective on that date.
