Even noting her careful framing to take us from AUKUS into broader questions of national security and our foreign policy, I really think it's a bit of a stretch.

I think the government has made very clear our approach to our bilateral relationships with a range of partners in our region, and I would refer you to comments made by ministers about those matters in other forums. This debate is essentially about a quite narrow piece of legislation.
