Senator CHISHOLM (Queensland—Assistant Minister for Regional Development, Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Assistant Minister for Resources and Deputy Manager of Government Business in the Senate) (15:55): I seek leave to make a short statement. The PRESIDENT: Leave is granted for one minute. Senator CHISHOLM: The government will be opposing this motion.
The NDIS is co-governed with states and territories. This motion contains an unreasonable timeline that seeks to compel release of the report before important questions can be worked through with other jurisdictions. Senator Ruston: You've had the report for seven months!
The PRESIDENT: Senator Ruston, not only are you disorderly but you are disrespectful. You are interjecting; you're not even in your right place. Question agreed to.
