MATTERS OF URGENCY

The ACTING DEPUTY PRESIDENT ( Senator O'Sullivan ) (16:05): Senator McKim has submitted a proposal, under standing order 75, today. It is shown at item 12 of today's Order of Business: Pursuant to standing order 75, I give notice that today the Australian Greens propose to move 'That, in the opinion of the Senate, the following is a matter of urgency: The need for the Government to immediately release the national climate risk assessment report, so Australians can assess whether the Government's proposed climate response will adequately protect the future of coral reefs, and the communities and economies that depend on them, from coastal flooding, coral bleaching, biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse.' Is consideration of the proposal supported?

More than the number of senators required by the standing orders having risen in their places— The ACTING DEPUTY PRESIDENT: With the concurrence of the Senate, the clerks will set the clock in line with the informal arrangements made by the whips.
