Senator DAVID POCOCK (Australian Capital Territory—Independent ACT Whip) (14:36): My question is to the Minister for Industry and Innovation and Minister for Science, Minister Ayres. The CSIRO appropriation as a percentage of GDP has fallen by more than 40 per cent over the past 20 years. Why is the Albanese government continuing to reduce funding for the CSIRO in real terms?
