Senator KOVACIC (New South Wales) (12:07): Minister, could you please tell me what consideration, if any, was given to evidence from women who faced significant difficulties with Centrelink and child support due to variable penalty rate income? To clarify that, what consideration was given to the fact that some women may choose to have a flat-rate income that suits them better for those purposes in relation to the reporting of income to government agencies?
