Senator WATT (Queensland—Minister for the Environment and Water) (18:45): We didn't make it a compulsory rule of being an attendee at the roundtable that you had to agree with the government on every point. We included a cross-section of views. But we were not persuaded by the evidence from those groups.
As I say, it's not unusual for employer groups to oppose changes that Labor governments make to workplace relations laws.
