Senator WATT (Queensland—Minister for the Environment and Water) (18:56): I think what I said earlier was that the evidence shows that, since we made previous workplace relations reforms, Australian wages have risen in real terms for seven quarters in a row for the first time in many years since we saw real wages fall under the coalition. I would expect that we will keep track of what wages are doing after these laws pass, in the same way that we've kept track of the impact on wages of our previous reforms.
