Senator CASH (Western Australia—Leader of the Opposition in the Senate) (15:07): by leave—I move: That the Senate directs the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee to hold a public hearing at 5 pm on 3 September 2025, of not less than 2 hours, for the purposes of hearing from officials from the Department of Home Affairs regarding the details of the Home Affairs Legislation Amendment (2025 Measures No. 1) Bill 2025.
