Senator CHISHOLM (Queensland—Assistant Minister for Regional Development, Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Assistant Minister for Resources and Deputy Manager of Government Business in the Senate) (16:36): by leave—I move: That on Wednesday, 3 September 2025: (a) the hours of meeting be 9 am till adjournment; (b) the Aged Care and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2025 and related bill be considered under a limitation of debate and the time allotted for consideration be as follows: (i) second reading—1 hour, and (ii) all remaining stages—2 hours and 30 minutes; (c) if consideration of the bills has not concluded earlier, the bills be called on again immediately following the consideration of any proposals under standing order 75; (d) divisions may take place after 6.30 pm until consideration of the bills has concluded; (e) any order requiring the attendance of a minister be varied to provide that the minister attend at the conclusion of question time; and (f) the question for the adjournment be proposed following the consideration of the bills, or at 7.30 pm, whichever is later.
