Senator RUSTON (South Australia—Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Senate) (19:09): I take it from your answer that there is no intention to try and expedite royal assent to these bills. The reason I ask whether there is going to be any accelerated attempt by the government to seek for these bills to receive royal assent is the final rules are contingent on royal assent to these bills into legislation.

I'm keen to understand when the final rules are anticipated to be registered in the parliament.
