QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator WONG (South Australia—Minister for Foreign Affairs and Leader of the Government in the Senate) (14:03): Thank you, President. Senator, I'm not sure. I'll take as read, if you don't mind, what you assert in your question about the Prime Minister's press conference.

If you observe his press conference, he makes himself very available to journalists for questions and certainly is prepared to answer questions in a lot of areas. What I would say is the Prime Minister has not only demonstrated his leadership in the decisions that we have made to place the Construction and General Division and its branches under administration for up to five years, passing that legislation and backing the administrator to take the action that is being taken, but also personally ensured that Mr Setka was expelled from our party, and that was the right thing to do.

So I think he has demonstrated, very clearly, a very principled approach to these issues. The PRESIDENT: Senator Kovacic, second supplementary?
