DISTINGUISHED VISITORS

The SPEAKER (14:15): I have a large number of guests to welcome to the parliament. Firstly, in the southern gallery behind the glass today are students from Wentworth Falls Public School in the member for Macquarie's electorate. In the southern gallery, we have a group of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from urban, rural and remote communities participating in the 2025 Work Exposure in Government program, and members from the Tasmanian Legislative Assembly: Josh Willie, a member for Clark, and Janie Finlay.

I see the former member for Higgins Dr Katie Allen in the gallery, along with Sam Dighton, the CEO of the Committee for Adelaide, and the mayor, Geoff McDonald, and deputy mayor, Rebecca Vonhoff, from Toowoomba Regional Council. There is a group of young people from Western Australia, representing 12 Buckets as part of their campaign to end child poverty in the member for Pearce's electorate.

There is also a group from The Young Assyrians, a youth led organisation that aims to educate and empower young people in the Assyrian community, as guests of the member for Greenway and the member for McMahon. Welcome, everyone, to question time. Honourable members: Hear, hear!
