QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE
Ms PENFOLD (Lyne) (14:40): My question is to the Minister representing the Minister for Industry and Innovation. Yesterday, the Minister for Industry and Innovation said he would 'exhaust every opportunity' to save Tomago. Minister, Jamestrong, a local manufacturing business in my electorate, has seen its energy bills rise by more than 70 per cent over the past four years, an increase of around $800,000.
Why won't the Albanese Labor government exhaust every opportunity to listen to Aussie manufacturers, like Jamestrong, and scrap their failed energy policies?
