QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Ms LEY (Farrer—Leader of the Opposition) (14:39): on indulgence—Can I associate the opposition with those remarks and say how much we appreciate the work of those in the agencies you mentioned, Minister, as well as in Taskforce Argos and indeed in every police station across this country that has to deal with hideous and heinous acts against children. Can I also express my very deep concern at the explosion of internet child sexual abuse in this country.

In the time that I have been in the parliament, I have been overwhelmed. Law enforcement has been overwhelmed. We want to work constructively and very positively to do whatever we can to stamp this out.
