QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator BARBARA POCOCK (South Australia) (14:21): The Australian dream of homeownership is on life support. Thirty years ago, it took four years on the average income to buy a house. Now it takes more than eight.

Your government is supercharging house prices and locking out first home buyers by refusing to phase out tax breaks. Minister, when will your government finally admit we can't fix the housing crisis without ending the unfair tax handouts—$181 billion over 10 years—to wealthy property investors? I'd like an answer, not— (Time expired)
