Senator TYRRELL (Tasmania—Independent TAS Whip) (14:34): The government's delay to table the report breached its legislative requirements under the telco consumer protection act—the very same act that it's now seeking to use to hold telco providers to account for emergency call outages. How can we expect the government to hold telco providers to account if it can't even meet its own legislative requirements?
