QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator GALLAGHER (Australian Capital Territory—Minister for Finance, Minister for the Public Service, Minister for Women, Minister for Government Services and Manager of Government Business in the Senate) (14:09): I thank Senator Ghosh for that supplementary. We started with pay rises, making sure that all minimum and award wage workers actually got a pay rise.

Those wages have increased under Labor by over $9,000. We've increased the superannuation guarantee to 12 per cent. Paid parental leave has expanded to 24 weeks, and super will now be paid on government funded PPL.

There's been energy bill relief, with $150 off power bills for every household and around one million small businesses, and we all remember those opposite voting against it. Here we are, needing to give households a bit of a hand, and what did those opposite do? They voted against it, didn't support it.

And now they are in disarray—a divided, visionless shambles sits before us, arguing about energy policy. Just when you thought all the people were going to come out and leave some of the discussion for the party room, another one comes out and tells Sussan Ley what they really think. (Time expired) The PRESIDENT: Senator Ghosh, second supplementary?
