Senator GALLAGHER (Australian Capital Territory—Minister for Finance, Minister for the Public Service, Minister for Women, Minister for Government Services and Manager of Government Business in the Senate) (14:10): I thank Senator Ghosh for the supplementary. We accept that the job isn't done. We did a lot in the first term, but there is more to do, which is why this government—as those over there eat themselves and tear their party apart—works on solutions for the Australian community.
We're focused on the job of delivery and of making sure that the Australian people understand that their government comes in and works every day for them. We've expanded five per cent deposits. We've delivered another pay rise for aged-care nurses, following the instalment in March.
We've cut student debt. We're opening Medicare urgent care clinics, and in the next few days we will be seeing that bulk-billing incentive triple not just for concession card holders and those under the age of 16 but for everyone that goes to the doctor. The incentive for bulk-billing will be tripled from 1 November.
This is a government that focuses on delivery and the Australian people. (Time expired)
