QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator AYRES (New South Wales—Minister for Industry and Innovation and Minister for Science) (14:55): It's a good supplementary question—and he's right over there, the hot-air-blowing, home-blocking heartbreaker. It's Senator Bragg and his colleagues over there. Under this government young Australians can, from 1 October, grab a five per cent deposit and put it on a home for them, their partners and their kids.

This character is bringing legislation in here that would take it off them. The PRESIDENT: Senator Ayres, refer to senators by their correct titles. Senator AYRES: Senator Bragg, supported by all these characters over here and, I assume, by these characters over here, wants to introduce the 'grab it back' provision—take the homes away, take the opportunity away, take the life chances away and rip opportunity away from young Australians who, right now, can look forward to a five per cent— (Time expired)
