QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE
Senator AYRES (New South Wales—Minister for Industry and Innovation and Minister for Science) (15:01): Do you know what we'll do? We'll focus on the work in industrial facilities. I'm very pleased with the appointment that you've just referred to—actually somebody who's contributed more than everybody here combined to the future of manufacturing in Australia.
Particularly on AUKUS submarines and particularly on shipbuilding, he's made a real contribution. Your contribution in the last term of government was a former defence industry minister who said Australians couldn't build a canoe. That's the sum of confidence that you lot have in Australian industrial capability, booting the car industry offshore, doing zero—a big fat net zero from your team on industrial capability, on building the energy for industry and on blue-collar jobs.
We'll just keep on with the work. (Time expired) Senator Farrell: I request that further questions be put onto the Notice Paper.
