Senator COLLINS (New South Wales—Deputy Opposition Whip in the Senate) (14:43): The coalition called for aluminium, alumina and bauxite to be included on the critical minerals list in 2023, which would have allowed companies like Tomago and Alcoa's Kwinana refinery the ability to secure their production through a range of policy options. Why do you not see our aluminium sector and the thousands of workers as critical to Australia?
