Australian Centre for Disease Control Bill 2025, Australian Centre for Disease Control (Consequential Amendments and Transitional Provisions) Bill 2025
Senator McALLISTER (New South Wales—Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme) (11:22): In relation to your first question, the advice I have is that the CDC will hold, at times, sensitive information. That information is defined in the act. It's necessary to ensure that the FOI arrangements are responsive to the sensitivity of that information.
It's described in the provisions of the bill. In relation to your question about states and territories, I will seek further advice to understand the effect of it.
