Senator DAVID POCOCK (Australian Capital Territory—Independent ACT Whip) (13:04): Minister, I've got a bunch of questions. I know we don't have much time left, so I might put a few at a time, if that's alright. You mentioned the $300 million growth fund.
Could you clarify for the Senate if that is exclusively to grow the plantation sector, or could it in fact be used in native forest logging? Secondly, I mentioned how the rulings power is envisaged to be used. Would the rulings power enable the minister to make a ruling that a particular action would meet a standard, even where, factually speaking, it clearly did not?
