Treasury Laws Amendment (Strengthening Financial Systems and Other Measures) Bill 2025

Senator GALLAGHER (Australian Capital Territory—Minister for Finance, Minister for the Public Service, Minister for Women, Minister for Government Services and Manager of Government Business in the Senate) (19:37): I table a correction to the explanatory memorandum relating to the bill. The correction responds to matters raised by the Senate Standing Committee for the Scrutiny of Bills.

The PRESIDENT: I will now deal with the Committee of the Whole amendments, starting with amendments circulated by the opposition on sheet 3529. The question is that schedule 3 stand as printed. Opposition's circulated amendment s — (1) Clause 2, page 2 (table item 3), omit "Schedules 2 and 3", substitute "Schedule 2".

(2) Schedule 3, page 94 (line 1) to page 95 (line 14), to be opposed.
