QUESTIONS WITHOUT NOTICE

Senator DAVID POCOCK (Australian Capital Territory—Independent ACT Whip) (14:31): Minister, gambling ads have so normalised gambling amongst young Australians. I had a father write in saying that his 16-year-old son had set up a sports betting account and lost $20,000, and now he and his wife have to sleep on his son's floor because he is suicidal. I'm wondering why your laundry list of things you and other ministers read out hasn't avoided this sort of harm, given we know it's such a challenge in our communities.
