Senator PAYMAN (Western Australia—Australia's Voice Whip) (18:54): I move: That there be laid on the table by the Minister representing the Treasurer by no later than 5 pm on Thursday, 26 March 2026, copies of all ministerial submissions, records of conversation, letters, briefing notes, meeting agendas, file notes, meeting invitations, meeting notes, meeting minutes, emails and instant/electronic messages between the Treasurer and/or his office, the Department of the Treasury and the Australian Taxation Office in relation to any proposals to adjust the capital gains tax discount or negative gearing for the 2026-27 Budget.
