The DEPUTY PRESIDENT (16:24): Senator McKim has submitted a proposal, under standing order 75, today, as shown at item 12 of today's Order of Business: Pursuant to standing order 75, I propose that the following matter of public importance be submitted to the Senate for discussion: "The Government must impose a gas export levy of at least 25% on mega-profiting gas companies, using the revenue to support Australians being smashed by spiralling fuel and energy costs." Is consideration of the proposal supported?
