Senator WATERS (Queensland—Leader of the Australian Greens) (14:24): If this crisis has taught us anything, it's that we need to end our dependence on fossil fuels. However, your government has indicated that the electric vehicle fringe benefits tax exemption is on the chopping block in this year's budget. Given that we are in fuel crisis, will you rule out making it harder for people to buy electric vehicles in the budget?
