Senator CASH (Western Australia—Leader of the Opposition in the Senate) (14:15): Can I confirm then that there is no ability, therefore, for the minister to issue a general direction in relation to or to the First Parliamentary Counsel regarding the prioritising, scheduling or sequencing of drafting work and that will solely sit with the First Parliamentary Counsel as to how they will prioritise work?
