Senator CASH (Western Australia—Leader of the Opposition in the Senate) (14:16): We are no further down the path in relation to understanding what a general direction is and what it can actually do and who needs to follow it. Can a general direction require OPC to adopt particular drafting conventions, standard clauses or template provisions?
