Senator HUME (Victoria—Deputy Leader of the Opposition) (14:05): The messaging from the government is confusing. Clearly you have lost control of the situation. More than 660 service stations across the country have run dry of at least one type of fuel.
How did the government, which said that there was plenty of fuel supply just a few weeks ago and mocked warnings as far-right extremist scaremongering, let this spiral into a nationwide fuel crisis if there is more fuel circulating in the economy?
